Cost for the strain is listed at $45 on Heaven's Stairway. Dman needs to adjust his pricing as this is first class stuff.

Seeds were germinated with wet paper towels in a dinner plate sandwich. Took two (2) days but I enjoyed a very high germination rate (9/10). Seeds were planted in 12 ounce plastic drink cups filled 60/40 with plain potting soil and Perlite. Cups were drilled for drainage and the resulting mixture was wetted down upon insertion of the cracked seed pods. Plant cups were placed under a Sylvania Super Metalarc 400 watt metal halide for their first 18 days. I then added the 1000 watt Agrosun Gold Deluxe (HORT-POMB) lamp to the outfit and that was too much sunshine, but once we got the foot print down to just the 1000 watt system, things really started hopping.

Strong growth during vegetative phase with a minty skunk odor that comes on by the end of the third week. Plants were vegged in 1-gallon planters containing grow rocks and coco coir, with bat guano added. Towards the end of 35 days of vegging they got a heavy dose of MiracleGro Soil Acidifier, some H2O2, and fish emulsion. That really got them going. When I switched to flower the plants ranged in size from 12" to 15" in height and had very acceptable branching and good strong sativa dominant leaf sets.

The strain exhibited two (2) different phenotypes:

1. A columnar phenotype that I didn't want to work with because it would be more ideally suited to SOG or SCROG and I was doing a bush grow. This plant will double in height and produce a tight span of colas with a very nice main cola that will impress SOG/SCROG growers looking for the silver bullet. These plants yielded approximately 2 to 3 ounces of bud. Plant odor becomes overpowering in flower with a carrion odor with a slight skunk undertone. If you don't have odor control, I recommend you get some to grow this beast. The columnar phenotype goes about 70 to 72 days.

2. A classic Christmas tree sativa phenotype that responds unbelieveably well to supercropping. Once these plants started to stretch, I started tying them down. The branches immediately reorient themselves and you have a SOG type result of multiple main cola limbs that will produce colas over 18" in length if they get enough light. I got this result with approximately 70 watts/sq. ft. This phenotype has the same odor issue, but the yield was astounding with one plant contributing over 8 ounces of bud. This pheno needs to go the full 80 days to get everything it has to give. Calyx to leaf ratio appeared acceptable as the buds finally started putting on the weight. You can also make these buds fork by topping them once they are a couple of inches long, then using wire force the buds to grow at right angles to one another once they take off.

Smoke Report

The plants were chopped a few days early due to a security issue and were water cured for 7 days before being dehydrated in a Nesco Dehydrator. Water cured, this is two toke pot that has outstanding medical efficacy and a bite severe enough to leave you paralyzed on the couch if you abuse her.

Medical Efficacy Scores:

Appetite Enhancement: 9 (chain the fridge)
Potency: 9 (there's stronger out there, but you'll be hard pressed to find it)
Head Pain: 8 (I get 50% migraine relief)
Joint Pain: 9 (one med patient gets incredibly long lasting relief)
Nausea: 8 (chemo patients could hardly do more)

Final Box Score
Potency: 9
Medical Efficacy: 8
Ease of Growing: 9 (anyone can grow this one)
Yield: 10
Taste: 9 (smooth and hashy)
Commercial Potential: 7 (odor and flowering time are issues)
Odor: 5 (get odor control)
Smokability: 9 (no black lung hacking or cottonmouth - but I water cured)
Total Possible Score: 80 Total Score: 63 (7.875 overall)

Converted half-bath. Lighting system utilized was a 1000 watt Agrosun Gold Deluxe Warm Metal Halide lamp. This is a serious horticulture lamp that will produce outstanding results. Odor extraction was a custom built combination filter with charcoal and hepa screens.

10-gallon stacked planters in a modified feed-to-waste arrangement. Bottom third of planter is filled with lava rock. Grow medium was 60% coco coir (SAI brand), 30% lava rocks, and 10% perlite. Tap water was used for this grow once the plants reached second week of veg. Plants were grown modified bush style with a combination of fimming, topping, and supercropping used throughout.
