The 75% Sativa hybrid is stable and consistently produces a lighter green plant, with dense, big colas. Lots of red hairs on the buds, with a lemony smell and fruity flavor. Up and cerebral stone.

I grew 3 strains for my first grow. I got these WG seeds because of the good price from Hemp Depot and I had room for 5 more plants. I was growing in soil using 5 gallon buckets vegging under a 1000 watt MH-18/6 and flowering under a 1000 watt HPS-12/12.

Out of 10 seeds, 9 sprouted and 5 turned out to be female. They started showing gender a week before the 12/12. This is a hardy strain which is described as 40 % to mostly sativa by some and mostly indica by others. It grows pretty fast and was way ahead of my 2 other strains by the time I put them all into 12/12. I only have one grow room. They have the sativa phenotype: tall with thin leaves and buds. It did not need many nutrients and could take a lot of them when needed. I had a problem with nute lockup by making my soil too hot with chicken manure. The plants had yellowed on the new growth. This was easily corrected with a transplant and chelated iron. After about five weeks in veg the plants were 2 1/2 feet tall! I had to wait because my other stains were only 18 inches.

These babies really stretch in the 12/12. By the time they were finished, they were over four feet tall. I had to raise the light and tie some of them down to keep them far enough from the light. I used a good, locally made 4-8-12 fert for the bloom. They had a great orange smell to them. The buds on two plants were pretty thick, so-so on two others and pretty thin on one. One got so heavy, it could not hold itself up.

For me, the hardest part of this is knowing when to harvest and White Grizzly confused the Hell outa me! One plant had 80-90 percent red pistils and milky trichomes at day 50 even though the seedbanks say 8-9 weeks. That plant did autoflower one week before 12/12. I decided to take that one down as an experiment. It turned out to be pretty good. It had some seeds in just three lower buds. No others had seeds.

I harvested the others at day 55 to 60. They all seemed to finish on different days. I let them dry in 40 percent humidity for a week and placed them in Mason jars opened an hour each day for the slower cure.

All in all, I would say thumbs up. Not a real large yield, but enough for me. It has an orange taste and the high is up and cerebral as described in the seedbanks. It builds up and lasts a while. I'm sure they could be flowered for another week to get the couchlock if so desired.

I would grow WG again, but I would flower it at 15 to 18 inches to deal with the big stretch. I can see why they describe it as a good outdoor strain. A pleasant surprise!
