  Breeder's Description - 'Biddy Early'
The Biddy Early is our first outdoor variety, but in our opinion already one of the best ever. It will grow out to a classical Sativa X-Mas tree with a height of approximately 1.8 to 2 meters. Because of its early flowering and maturation, it's very well suited for open field cultivation in Holland, and area's with a similar climate. Of course it's also possible to grow the Biddy Early with great results indoors under lights, but remaining mothers in a vegetative stage for a prolonged period, can be difficult, and in some cases even impossible. The majority of the plants will form red and purp ...continued

I bought the seeds in a spanish grow shop for 30€. Out of 10 seeds, half were females.

I grew the ladies with bonsai technique (see FAQ for infos) which proved to be very efficient: i obtained 5 healthy bonsai moms 25 cm (10 ") tall. The problem i was aware of, was the tendency of this strain to autoflower even under 24/7 light regimen: Gerrit, MG's creator, mentions this prob on his Biddy Early desciption. I got only one mom which didn't autoflower within 3 months: this is the pheno i kept for next grow. In this grow report i had 2 phenos: the one from the mom that doesn't autoflower and the other from an autoflowering mom that went to trash. The first makes lower plants, fluffy, conic buds (non autoflowering mom) and the other more compact buds, that agregates horizontally into massive buds (autoflowering mom), taller. Both at the end have same taste, odor, buzz...

I used GH products (gro, flo, Ripen) and Bionova PK 13/14.
400W HPS, pH 5.5
I have a Nutriculture Flogro 520 which is composed of a dripping ringover a 75 cm (30") tray w clay peebles & tank.

This strain is easy to clone within 10 days (cheapo aero cloner : see FAQ).

This grow was initially a try for SOG : i quickly discovered i had chosen wrong strain for this propagation technique. Because of her sativa origins, this strain stretches a lot when put under 12/12 (2 to 3 times). I shouldn't have waited for clones to make roots before switching to 12/12: they grew too fast, too tall and canopy was very irregular. Besides thereSCROG would suit better...

I didn't top the plants and they all grew up with XMas tree shape (central cola + numerous big buds).

They required low maintenance & low nutes levels (1.5 max). This strain grows geometrically perfect, with thin stems, few fan leaves, much resin and many bud sites that later join together to form big colas & buds. It responds very quickly to 12/12, and form pistils within 7-10 days. This must be its "early" lineage as it is ready to harvest within 56 days flowering.
It really STINKS from week 4 of flo (strong fruity aroma) :it is even worse than WW!! Odor control is highly recommended for neighbourhood.
I fed them with increasing dosis of PK13/14 while decreasing flo nutes levels from week 4 'till middle of week 7. This started the flushing process as the N concentration became lower and lower. I ended the flush with 10 days of Ripen only followed by 2 days of ph'd water. The plants were all yellow when harvested.
I harvested when all trichs were cloudy. It dried in 1-2 weeks and i made a 2 weeks cure when i'm writing.

This is a good producer as i got about 300g out of 6 plants.

This is a very soft & clean smoke, but taste is not quite distinctive...Some subtle fruity/candy aroma develops as curing progresses. It is anyway very pleasant to smoke with sometimes slight skunky aftertaste.
Biddy Early will cast you a spell of eternal stoniness: quick head rush, strong heart beat increase followed by a long mellow and trippy buzz (3 hours & more). This is an excellent uplifting high, with weird state of consciousness : it is a very special and undescriptible buzz. It gets you VERY stoned, but still capable of doing things: you don't know really if you're tired or not!!!.Gerrit made a unique strain you can recognize among thousand others by this trippy and nicely balanced buzz.
It is not a "one shot" strain that kills you with 1 puff...The more you smoke, the more you get stoned : the prob is you always wanna smoke more!
