An excellent beginner's strain. Only slight variation in phenos and all will produce dark green, glossy leaves. Grew excellent and put on a good show for low wattage grow.

Flowering period was 8 weeks on average, and some were harvested earlier, which to my liking produced a different buzz.

Misty was real easy to grow, all were pretty much uniform. Shows preflowers at around 6 weeks, and is one of the easiest strains I have grown. Thick stalk, dark green leaves, branches shoot out in a "Y".

Some plants had a fruity aroma, others had a strong pugnent smell while in flowering. I found

Nice strain - cheap and easy to grow. Slightly odd smell - but very strong so be careful if smell is a problem. I'm not joking. I had some of this weed cured in a sealed plastic bag one evening in my jacket pocket. I got home - took the baggie out of my pocket and left it in my house - then in the m ...continued

Started with 6 seeds which all sprouted on damp kitchen paper within 36 hours and eventually gave 4 girls :) 100% germination.

Plants were in general purpose compost for the first couple of weeks and then potted up to All-Mix. Apart from some deficiency (my fault) at about 3 weeks there were no problems at all. A half arsed attempt at LSTing was started aswell.

Some Misty's can really smell, with vegging seeming a lot worse than flowering to me. Even at 2 weeks old the plants could easily be smelt in the room. As they age a kind of stale sweat, garlic, cat piss and coffee aroma develops.. mmm nice.

Plants were vegged for around 6 weeks before changing to 12/12, with them then having about 5 or 6 colas each from the training. Very little stretch during flowering with them all ending up around 18" .They seem to explode with bud growth within days of changing to 12/12, much faster than other strains I've grown.

Nothing eventful happened during flowering and plants were eventually chopped at 7, 9 (2 plants) and 10 weeks into flowering to see how the highs varied. The later harvested plants really piled on the weight in the last couple of weeks. The lowest yielding plant (the 7 week one) was around 22g, highest was about 40g I think and the four plants gave around 4.4oz in total plus 3g of hash from the trim.

The buds have quite a piney smell when fresh but it changes to a much fruiter one over time I found. My stash is now almost 4 months old and they have a lovely sweet smell about them. The flavour seems quite spicey to me with various nutmeg, aniseed and minty tastes coming through along with a bit of pine.

Not the most potent of plants but everyone who's tried it seemed impressed all the same.. one that you can smoke all day without ending up a zombie. The one chopped at 7 weeks gave a nice head high, reminding me very much of a mild dose of shrooms. The later cut ones were somewhat stonier but not too much and still a head buzz there. If I grew again I'd chop them all at 9 or 10 weeks as you get the improved yield and still a balanced high.

All in all an easy to grow strain with decent yields, tastes and potency. Shouldn't give any problems for a beginner.
