Breeder's Description - 'Lionheart' | | The lionheart, with it's unique spicy smell, and extremely sticky composition, is definitely something special. It has a medium yield that is compensated by the highest THC levels. The TRUE sativa high increases with each puff (Most put out a joint after a few tokes). It breaks up like hash, but stickier.NOTE: Anyone nearby will get high

| I germ 8 LH seeds indoors last Oct, overall 7/8 germ rate. Vegged for 7 plus weeks then went 12/12 and finished with 5 females flowered for 65 days. 3 phenos: 2 ind/sat, 2 sat/ind and 1 sat dom.
Ind/Sat .
Very little stretch in flowering. Lots of budding sites. Healthy vigorous leaf growth throughout especially toward the bottom portion of plant. Smaller top cola with tight heavy buds. Lots of resin, very sticky buds. Aroma is all candy store goodness. Kinda like a mixture of cotton candy and bubblegum (I just wonder if any of these are in parentage as Almighty give no details on seed makeup). Taste is mildly spicy with traces of holiday spices and fruit flavored bubblegum. Potency is good, with a multi-faceted high that is thought enabling, smile inducing and with just a hint of body. Very mellow but also steady and sure when the need arises.
Sat/Ind.
Much more sat in this pheno: longer branches, well-spaced internodes and longer thinner leaves. Not as vigorous as the ind/sat, with much more of the overall leaf growth concentrated towards top of the plant. Medium sized main cola with high calyx / leaf ratio. Some other bud sites located mainly on middle portion of plant with good-sized tight flowers. No shortage of resin on the sticky crystal covered buds. Smell is hazier with a hint of fuel and some ripe grapefruit in the mix. Taste goes from savory spice to some mint effects present on the exhale. Now the real sativa high is evident in this pheno: speedy, energetic, and cerebral with rapid thought development and just enough trippiness to know you are high. Again more intense than the ind/sat pheno but always confident enough to deal with most situations.
Sat Dom.
Typical sativa growth characteristics: long branches and thin fingerlike leaves following a tall plant structure. I thought this 5-foot plus plant would never bud. After 4 weeks she finally showed some pistils and impressed me the most by the weight increase in the final weeks before harvest. Most growth was centered on the top cola. A very hazy musky greasy smell noticeable from the buds. Tell tale signs of strong haze influence in this pheno. Smell not very sweet compared to others. Clear clean high which makes your heart pound faster after you toke. Good for concentration or problem analysis: your mind is really ticking over on this one! Most intense sativa rush of the trio; never debilitating with nary a trace of the noids.
Overall, one of the better strains I have grown. I love the taste and positive high above all else. Yield was a little over 4 oz from the five ladies. Not the greatest yielder around but a little more bud than I expected at the start. Healthy, vibrant growth with no def problems. The plants took all the organic ferts I gave them and never showed any problems . But what stands out most is the high, which is upbeat positive with a smooth comedown and no burnout. Not a couchlock strain by any means.
Garden Information for this report 400w MH/HPS organic black gold potting soil. Closet grow with 15sq ft and 9ft ceiling. Walls painted gloss white . Maxsea 16-16-16 for veg and Maxsea 3-20-20 for bloom. Started fert cycle at week 5 at worked up from half strength to full strength at end of cycle. Added worm castings tea before going to 12/12. |
