Breeder's Description - 'Space Queen' | | Space Queen was the only reason I invested in C99 in the first place. Ever since I heard the description of Soul's princess I knew her and Romulan would be the perfect match. Then prototype crosses between P75 and Romberry started pumping out the winners that have found keeper status in many select gardens. Each of these keepers exhibit a blend of C99 and Romulan characteristics. Space Queen is a Romulan/C99 hybrid. Flavour and potency are sure things, both parents are known for their high potency and great highs. Lemon, pine, and pineapple all swirl in a pungent bouquet to tantalize your tast ...continued

| BCGA's Space Queen (Romulan X C99) is fairly easy to grow and is a wonderful smoke. I am very impressed with the quality of this strain. I germinated 6 seeds and ended up getting 3 females. Two phenos were very similar, while one was slightly different. All three phenos were mostly C99 dominant though. The plants had about 75% C99 in them and 25% Romulan from the looks of them and the way they smoked.
The yield was average to slightly above average. She should yield 2 ounces per plant consistently under a 1000w vegged for 6 weeks. The buds are fairly dense for a Sativa dominant plant. Very nice sized chunks. She is a branchy plant and can put on some weight on the side branches. Doesn't stretch much at all for a Sativa/Haze dominant plant. They all finished in about 55-60 days. Pretty quick for a Haze hybrid.
The high is great and is very potent. It definitely has the up Sativa/Haze high and the high is mostly in the head. Similar highs as Super Silver Haze and Jack Herer or most Haze dominant plants. Very cerebral. Some pressure on the eyes and some heavy eyelids. Pretty functional high and great to smoke during the day when you need to get stuff done. Slight edge to the high though with some slight paranoia. Definitely gets your heart racing a bit and is maybe not the most social high. Not overly edgy though and definitely less edgy and intense than than Super Silver Haze when comparing it to other Haze dominant strains.
Garden Information for this report These plants were grown under a 1000w HPS. Vegged under fluros for around 5 weeks, but I should have vegged them 6-7 weeks. They are grown in Pro Mix soil with about 30% more perlite added and a little lime to bring up the PH slightly. They were fertilized with Fox Farm organics. Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. The schedule used was fertilize with Fox Farm, then two plain waterings after that before fertilizing again. From now on Indonesian Bat Guano 0-13-0 will be used for the last two weeks of flowering before a 14 day plain water flush to cut out nitrogen completely. |
