| BMR was a grow I have been wanting to do for quite a while. Germed 12 seeds all looked great nice big tap roots were out in 2 days in a paper towell. Planted all in keg cups under floros for 2 weeks untill roots were well established then put them under a 1000w MH.
Veg: All plants did very well in veg as small plants, they were all very uniform in growth and speed. After their first repoting they all had a very good growth spurt up and started to grow nice side branches. This is when phenos started to apear. Some were more branchy than others but all had nice thick stems and were very healthy. I veged them to about 12" then toped them. Once toped they vegged for another week and a half and really started to develope into nice little bushes. The branchier ones doing better.
Bloom: After 12/12 started all 12 showed sex in the first few days, there was 7f 5m, males were all killed. Of the 7 females all streched for about the first two weeks or so. This initial two weeks is where the different phenos became evedent. They all had very different growth paterns. Two streached alot to over 5 1/2 feet and had to be trained extensively to avoid growing out of the light area. I don't think that this trait is dominant but there are a few freeks in there for sure. Two had a very indica profile with thick leaves and very little streach. Three had I would say 50/50 growth with a streach but normal, 150% or so.
Sativa phenos: All were very tall and harty, they packed on the weight fast like their smaller sisters. Sence they had grown up so fast they became very tob heavy in the last few weeks and alot of the branches began to just fall over. I tried to prop them up as much as I could but there was still a limited amount to do. They all had nice trich covered buds that grew well. The smell was a very mild blueberry smell on one and a skunky sweet on the other.
Indica phenos: Both had short stature. One looked close to an Afghani plant I had a while ago. One had a nice soft sweet smell. The other had the most blueberry smell of all the plants and was very nice.
50/50 phenos: Two were more on the bubblegum side with thick buds but light on the resin production. Smell was a mild sweet. They grew very large buds and were the best yeilders of the bunch. Of all of the plants the third 50/50 was the only super plant of the bunch. Not so much in growth pattern but for bud structure and trich production. It grew well and started putting on trichs before any others. The smell was a very astringent cleaner smell with strong rasberry smells coming through aswell. This is what most of my pics are of with two pics of the high yielding sativa pheno.
Overall I am satisfied with BMR. There is alot of variation between individuals but that can produce some great phenos. If you are looking for a really stable strain this is not it, but the chance for a good pheno is there most definatly.
