Blue Kiev was my 1rst real grow a couple years back in the day. This strain was outstanding in taste, potency and yield. A real easy strain to grow, had no problems with it at all. A Blueberry x AK47 cross with a nice uppercut to the jaw.
I had posted these pics here at OG and at Bluegrass Seeds site as well, the founder there appreciated my work and offered me a few of there strains to grow providing that he could use my pics to show to the public. I only wish I had a better camera back then.
Vegging... A real treat to watch them take off under a 400watt MH, they stayed uniform and squat, indica phenos were easily seen. I topped them around 18 inches, and they grew into stout bushes.
Flowering... They really filled out nicely producing long buds that smelled of berries, around week 5 the smell was stout. The plants were very lush green, it almost looked like a rubber plant with colas. I finished them around 60 days and the smoke was a real treat.
The High... Very heavy and yet relaxing. Great smoke nonetheless. This would be a fine herb for medical use.
Taste... You can taste the berries with an AK47 hashy background, very smooth, very chronic.
