  Breeder's Description - 'Blaze'
Haze is a pure Sativa developed in the 70's and is widely agreed by experts to be the one of the most potent Sativas in the world. When crossed with Blueberry, it produces one of the best indoor hybrids that we have tested. Soaring cerebral high and delicious Haze taste, combine with the mostly Indica Blueberry's shorter flowering time and dried grape aroma to produce smoke of exceptional quality. Recommended.

This is a report on a mostly haze phenotype.

Vegetative:

Out of 2 seeds, one germinated and turned out to be a female. Growth was incredibly vigorous in vegetative state, with strong and fast hardening stems. With the clones I made of this plant I tried LST and FIM and both worked equalliy well. In any cases, some kind of training is required or else this baby is going to become way too tall for the average grow box. Among other things interesting with this strain are the pre-flowers that appeared really quickly and that it was really easy to clone. Also, from early in vegetative state, there has been a stem producing half-albino leaf blades. After some research it appears to be somewhat common with haze crosses and is due a recessive genetic malfunction. It did not cause any problems except that the white parts were more fragile and dried out faster. In greater proportion albino leaves would be detrimental to the plant since they do not produce chlorophyll and therefore cannot process light.

Flowering:

As you may guess, Blaze stretches quite a bit in flowering but it wasnt a problem for the growing styles I used. Really easy to grow in flowering as well: smell is close to none and wasnt picky on nutes although it seems to be more of a low - mid nutrients lover. The colas are long, of medium density, and have a typical sativa calyx formation that looks like a ear of wheat. The total yield was more than acceptable. Only major downturn is that this pheno takes a full 100-105 days to mature.

Smoke Report:

While curing, and even afterward, Blaze keeps its fresh scent, a mix of mint and pine. Although the taste of the smoke is somewhat spicy, vaporized buds keep the fresh piney feeling on your tastebuds. The high is highly cerebral, but do not seem to induce paranoia.

Bottom line: This is a low odor, mass producing, easy to clone and feed sativa dominant plant but can outgrow your garden if you do not pay attention to its training and it takes a loooong time to mature.

My box is 3' x 3' x 6'.

Plants were grown with a 430w hps in 1' x 1' modular scrogs (SSScrog) as well as LST. I used an organic grow mix composed of black earth, peat moss, perlite, dolomite lime, kelp, blood meal, bone meal and epsom salt. I fed with PBP Grow and Bloom and alterning Liquid Karma and liquid earthworm poo every watering. Watered with plain water for the last week.
