| A quick finisher, the C-4 is unassuming and disappointing until it BLOWS UP in the final week or so of flowering. Medicinally, it is a great strain in that is is very fast to hit; a few puffs and you definitely feel it, so it would be a good strain for those looking to accurately control dosage. Thi ...continued

Grower Report - Muska on September 1, 2003, 1:02 am | C4 from Chimera rated 8.00 |
| I put just three C4 seeds under paper towels, all popped, two were female. The two females were grown with there four other female friends, for 12/12 under a toasty 400w HPS (+100w side lighting)
The ladies were not hot and heavy under the bright HPS the whole time however, they were under two, 60w florescents with a few of their boy-pals (three) who I eventualy tossed for there excessive manly-ness. The two C4 girls were nearly identical in growth caracteristics. They were both short, yet firm and strong ladies. Kinda bushy in their bottoms but had a nice, long cola towards the top. Their plump budlets started to form in about 16 days flowering, and started smelling quite a bit. By week 6 (37 days) they really be began showing a side of them I never saw before. Their hairs were changing colors, and their buds were getting perky like never before!! Man, was I in for a treat... I had to hold on, I knew they were not mature and it would be wrong to take that away from them so early in there life. The last two weeks were unbearable, every day I would come home to their sparkly, erect buds, luring me with there piney fragrance. Damn there nugs of perfection were getting hard! Dense and firm I tell ya... When the day came, I could hardly hold my hands firm to cut their stalk. For I was too excited of what joy we would have together after their short-hang in the closet (10 days, w/ purfier for air flow). After I dismembered their firm, smell & hairy bodyparts, I put them in jars for the cure (2 wks, lid opened once a day).
SMOKE REPORT... now this is the day I was waiting for, I have to admit I nabbed a little samples before the cure, but this is the smoke I will report on. It hits nice and soft with a piney taste. A few times you can almost hint at a fruity taste, hard to describe but its citrusy (orange?). I took just a few hits -holding them in for a while, on the second I began to feel the effects. A wave of highness moved threw my body, & I was more relaxed, as I slouched deeper into the couch, not to move for a good half an hour. It really makes you good for the munchies and great for a movie for sure. Hard to remember the last half of the report (damn potent shit!!). 9/10 smoke rating on C4.
Garden Information for this report 400w HPs + 100w Floro for flowering(12/12). Soil all organic. Started in 2 gal pots, moved to 5g @12/12. 120w floros for vegging (24/0). 2 fans for circulation, a purfier in the veg room. Watered once every 3-5 days depending on weight of pot... I used some bat quano, perlite, vermiculite, peat moss, top soil, and bone meal for the soil mix. Dosed once with organic nutes. |
