Breeder's Description - 'Blueberry' | | "We developed Blueberry from different new genetic lines, genetics that are unique to Europe. Not only Blueberry, but also Blue Velvet and Flo are developed from totally new genetics. These seed strains are of the highest quality and have not been grown in Europe before. | I grew out only 10 seeds, and ended up with 5/5. I then grew out larger numbers of clones of each mother to decide, which mother(s) would continue in my growroom.
I have logged those selections in a thread here at OG. In quick summary, I was graced with a range of phenos which I believe represent ...continued

| I have always wanted to grow Blueberry and after doing alot of research and reading his book I choose to go with DJ Short. I bought my pack from Brad over at Hempdepot and germinated them. I got all but 1 to pop but had a bad luck with the male/female ratio and just ended up with 3 girls to choose from. They were all similar in growth but one stood out and was alot better yielder then her sisters. They grew decently vigorous in veg and I kept them vegging for 8 weeks because of the small amount of girls I had. This strain needs very little nutes and can be easily overfed if not careful. In flower this plant is absolutely beautiful. They get nice purple/bluish hues very early in flower which keeps getting more and more impressive. The crystal/resin amount is incredible on the leaves and buds. There isn't really much of an odor problem that I noticed but I don’t really care about that too much where I’m at. I am just flowering the clones off the biggest yielder as I write this and look forward to seeing how they turn out. It looks even more resinous in this clone run. I think once I get this strain completely dialed in the way I want it will be a really decent yielder but the first run was kind of small kinda becuase of the conserative nutes I gave it. The buds really thrive with a slow dry and cure process. The taste when cured if so nice as its got the sweetest earthy/berry flavor that makes you go YUMMM after every exhale. The purple in the dried buds are also cool to show off to the boys. The high is my favourite part...its like a instant mood changer if your having a bad day or something. It really makes you feel all around nice inside and I highly recommend this strain to anyone who suffers from anxiety or even depression. I plan on buying a pack of the new True Blue also after trying this wonderful work from one of the top cannabis breeders of today. I hope DJ Short knows how much his hard work is appreciated, THANK YOU!!
Garden Information for this report I grew this in 5 gallon grow bags with a mix of promix, worm castings and perlite. I used Pure Blend Pro veg/flower for nutes with Liquid Karma for trace. |

These plants were a present from a very good friend of mine. The plants started off short and squat but then started to stretch a little, especially in bud. I was using a 1000 watt HPS for veg and for bud and grew in Promix soil. The nutrient in veg was 'Total Nutrition' and ...continued
