| 8 out of 10 seeds germinated. A 70+ day finisher with a high flower to leaf ratio. I expected to see a few more trichomes than what was on show, but overall a very nice plant to grow. The taste is right up there with my list of my most favourite tasting weeds I have had the pleasure to sampling. A ...continued

| A very nice strain to grow, Skunk #11 is a definite must for the beginner. It seems to take almost anything and still pull through, even my tester plant ended up quite nice. This particular report is about the indica phenotype, which matures much faster than the other pheno, I harvested at 58 days 1 ...continued

| This is quite a strain. all 4 of the seeds I planted germinated within a day's time. their time in the veg stage was relatively short, 32 days and all four plants started to alternate nodes. they spent 70 days in flowering but probably could have gone longer. I prefer to harvest early in the window cause I prefer head highs more . Yield was ok, but I know it would have been better had I used more light.
Pheno: all four of my plants were quite different in appearance. 1. this one exhibits indica growth patterns. the nugs are large and fluffy. during flowering this plant smelled like a salad of tropical fruits. the taste isn't quite the same as the smell but it is just as good. it is a mix of the "skunky" taste and fruit. 2. this plant encountered some problems.... at first I thought it was an over watering problem, but then I soon learned it was a nutrient deficiency but at this point there wasn't much I could do because it would have been time to flush. this plant exhibited sativa character, it stretched almost twice its height. oddly, it did not smell in flowering. thee smell of the nugs when dry is fresh and green smelling. the smoke has a taste of skunk 3. I nicknamed this plant, Frosty McGurkenson. Let me tell you, it was covered in resin. I chose this one to be my mother. it smelled just like FUNKY weed when it was flowering. the taste and smell of dry nugs is heavenly. it is smooth and skunky tasting. gets me stoned in 2 hits 4. the last one smelled like blueberries which I thought was odd. the dry buds even smell like blueberries but taste like berries mixed with the skunk taste.
I keep referring to the skunk taste.... this taste is unlike any other I have tasted. put simply, it exemplifies funk in my mind.
the high: since I harvested early in the window of when one can harvest, the highs off of each plant start in the head . Surprisingly, the high for all the plants are quite similar. They motivate you for a little while, then after a good hour and a half, you want to sit. Nice high for any time of the day and you can function quite well on it. This isn’t the most potent bud in the world, but the taste and high more than make up for it. A true masterpiece. I will continue to grow this strain until I am sick of it, which I don't see happening anytime soon.
Garden Information for this report 320 W Fluroescents i used soil i din't use any nutes. |

Grower Report - still_doomed on January 15, 2005, 12:45 pm | | 1 Image | This is a wonderful plant. Very vigorous and quite frankly beautiful. The stems however can tend to be a bit weak and the buds can get a bit heavy for them. I had to heavily support them as they matured.
This plant was a true joy to grow. It's hardy and forgiving but maybe not necessarily for ...continued

| I purchased this strain as it was the cheapsed feminised seeds available and being my first grow I didn`t want to kill anything expensive..
I germinated 5 seeds using paper towel on a heated mat, and all popped within 48 hours. I then transplanted to soil of which 4 broke the surface.
I vegged ...continued
