I grew Armageddon 47 last year. This was the first of my grows. I had no idea which seeds to buy, and stuck with two seed banks for my 3 strains. I got these seeds from Heaven's Stairway. Most of the "first choice" strains were sold out. Just as well, this is a good one.

I bought these seeds 2003 from seeds direct (10 seeds in pack, breeders pack was a reseal able plastic baggie with a homegrown fantaseeds card inside it). The first time i grew the strain was in a microgrow (100 watt HPS) about 2 years ago. At that time 4/5 seeds germed, 2/4 were female, harvested an ounce and a half, flowered for 55 days.
GROW REPORT:
This grow was under a 400 watt HPS in a C22 cab. They were in a bubble bucket system based off the "Marijuana Bubble Garden" article on this website. 4 plants, 1 control bucket.
Of the 5 seeds i had left 4/5 germed and were put in soil. One died from mold before it got out of the soil. 2 of the remaining 3 were female. The mothers were grown in soil under flouros and clones were taken of each (2 of each ended up in the cab). The mothers were flowered at this point, and yielded a little less than 2 ounces after being moved under a 150 watt HPS.
The clones in the cab were vegged for 20 days (ended up being too long, stretched to close to the light). When switched to 12/12 they stretched about 3 times there height. Stretch was probably aggravated by the large difference between day and night temps (night about 15+ degrees colder), as well as a bit of overcrowding, despite selective pruning.
They flowered nicely until about week 6, when i went out of town and we had a snap of cold weather. Because my cab is in my basement it was affected by the cold and the water temp in the hydro system dropped to 11 degrees for a couple days. The cold weather turned many of the leaves purple, as this strain will do, but also severally stunted growth when they would have otherwise packed on weight (as the mothers had done when they were flowered). This is the reason i did not fill out the SI rating; it would have been inaccurate for the strain because of this problem. Final yield was a measly 5 ounces of NICE frosty buds.
Hydro-organic botanicare nutes were used.
SMOKE REPORT:
1.5 month cure, vaporized- nice sweet taste. Cough inducing even with a vape. Nice smooth high, heady yet enough of an indica touch to remain completely mellow with no paranoia. Good for depression; functional for insomnia; not the most munchie inducing out there but does increase appetite.
Garden Information for this report Mills Pride C22 cab. 400 watt HPS, with a super spreader. 4, 5 gallon bucket hydro system, with a control bucket. A pump recirculates the entire system. 30 gallon air pump per bucket. 6" net pots with hydroton as medium Botanicare Pure Blend Pro veg and bloom used respectively. Liquid karma, some additional metanatural organic N during veg, and hydroguard were used as well. ppm was kept between 500-700 the entire grow, except for the last week which was plan water. I use a Hanna PH and temp meter, and a truncheon ppm meter. |
