Breeder's Description - 'Mango' | | Afghani and KC-33 lines combine for one of the tastiest indicas you're likely to ever grow. She'll have you horizontal in no time at all, with a dreamy but intense physical stone that will prevent you from doing anything even remotely useful -- or caring about your incapacitation. A great respite for the weary and psychologically embattled worker bee who had a rough day at the office. An extraordinarily easy grow inside or out and one of the most flavorful indicas you'll ever smoke.

| Veg Stage: Germ rate was 3/5. The female to male ratio was 2/3. The Mango was not all that vigorous in veg...
Pheno 1 It was tall and very lanky. Looked nothing like the other pheno. I have no idea how it was classified as a indica. It grew like a friggin jungle sativa. The genetic variation o ...continued

| 5 for 5 germ, all five sprouted, 2 males, 1 hermie (my fault), 2 females. Out of all five I observed three phenos, Indica dominant, Indica/Sativa, Sativa dominant.
Sativa dominant: light green leaf, skinny leaf. Hermied at 2 weeks flower, culled. Only one I had in DWC. Massive stretch.
Indica/sat: both males and one female displayed these traits. Dark green medium width leaf, branchy, thick stalks, somewhat lanky with nice even distance between nodes. Good resin production, short trichomes. This pheno displayed good conformity/even growth. Light airy buds.
The taste and smell are top notch, very pleasurable smoke. Tropical/fruity. The stone is medium in potency, even buzz. I can smoke it through out the day, but by early eve it's lights out. Good weed for part time smokers/chicks.
I harvested this pheno at 56 days, clear trichomes, very few cloudy. I could have taken her another week as I did with the Indica pheno.
Indica pheno: I say Indica, because during veg this plant looked exactly like the Golden Skush I had growing with it. Tight compact plant, lighter green wide leaf. When she went to flowering, the center of the plant just shot up, ended up the tallest plant in the grow. When the bud started packing on, she displayed some skinny sativa leaf for a week, then back to a wider leaf... Never was a lanky plant, just the center/colas shot up. Nice thick stalk. The bud on this girl was denser, and very pine cone shaped. Good even growth with a very nice center cola.
Again the taste and smell just some of the best smelling bud I've ever come across. This pheno's smell was so good it was almost orange like with a breeze blowing through it, no shit very nice. The buzz was pretty much similar to the other girl, little more head, and did last 30 minutes longer. This girl is a nose tingler, the aroma gets me sneezing like a motherfucker.
Harvested this girl at 61 days, all cloudy trichomes with some clear still there.
I grew these plants using training and extensive pruning. These photos are not typical of the strain's growth pattern.
Garden Information for this report 1000W HPS from 1 1/2 wk old. Age old organic veg and bloom nutes. Basic pottin soil, with added perlite, vermiculite, blood meal. Vegged three weeks to 8 to ten inches, flipped to flower. Largest plant went 26 inches, smaller one 20 inches. |
