Coco Grow

I started out with 20 Deluxe seeds from Satori for selecting mother plants and then took cuttings which I grew in coco coir in 3,5 L (approx. 1 gallon) pots. The plant were watered by hand. Satori grew to a slim and compact sativa with excellent pest resistance and she finished flowering within a good time frame. The plants had a powerful central stem with internodes growing in a "steps". Sideshoots grew mainly in a close upright position next to the main stem. Thatīs why I can also recommend her for SOG. As a mother plant Satori requires approx. 3 weeks before the first robust cuttings can be taken. Only two days after they rooted I put them into flowering at about 10cm (4 inches) of height. From these short cuttings I got fantastic plants with an average height of 60-80cm (24-31 inches).
Satori grows nicely uniform. Some plants stay a bit shorter than the rest but it doesnīt affect the yield. After 7 weeks in flowering you can count on a real boost in bud development. So a bit of patience really pays off. I found that the nutrient requirements for this strain are very low because the plants use all available nutrients to the optimum. She doesnīt like to be overfed and giving her less = more! I recommend to all Satori growers to start with half of the recommended dosage and to observe the plants. In my coco grow the EC never went over 1,1 (starting level was EC 0,3). I use the ‚Truncheon‘ nutrient salts meter.
The (new) flowering time of 65-72 given by Mandala Seeds is definitely realistic. After 9-10 weeks
also the longer flowering plants had matured. They filled the air with a strong sweet-spicy hash aroma when I touched them ... and the budīs aroma began to really intensify during drying!
The mainly average resin development does not in any way reflect the potency of this strain. The high is unbelievably strong and getīs more powerful with every new inhalation! The clear and up-high is exactly what one desires from a sativa.
