Breeder's Description - 'Cherry Bomb II'
We have obtained Cherry Bomb from several sources, the original being from California and most recently we obtained Cherry Bomb from Mr. Greengenes, and his 100% Sativa Cherry Bomb meets the predominantly indica Cherry Bomb from California to create the ultimate Cherry explosion like and orgasm in a rolling paper. Soaring high, sativa dominant buzz, full on Cherry Candy flavor and smell and a respectable yield make this Cherry Bomb the best ever. High yield.

Cherry Bomb II, as it was described 'orgasm in a rolling paper', made this strain devilishly appealing. Moreover, the idea of a fruity high-yielder only added to her allure.
I was on a quest for a crème de la crème.
Frankly, I would go as far as saying she's a new grower's dream requiring minimal

The Cherry Bomb II has two distinct phenotypes.

One phenotype has wider, more indica-looking leaves and a columnar structure. The smell of the indica pheno is slightly cherry with a spicy side. Flavor is all out spicy. The high of the indica pheno is stony in nature and leaves me groggy afterwards. After the initial grow I pitched the indica pheno. It is a nice plant, but not what I believe Reeferman was after when creating the Cherry Bomb II. This phenotype goes the advertised nine weeks.

The second phenotype has skinnier leaves and has a branching habit. It will grow nice fat stems, but still not enough to support the bud weight. Although the flowering time is a little long, the yield and flavor makes it well worth it. Staking is a must for this phenotype. The branching habit would make it ideal for SCROG. This phenotype has no smell in veg. and early flower. Late into flowering, around week 7, the cherry smell starts to kick in. The smell is best described as artificial cherries, think cherry cough drops. The smell gets stronger as flowering commences. I have been harvesting this phenotype at week 10.5 from cuttings. This is my keeper phenotype and what the report is based on.

The high from the sativa pheno is a balanced high, more in the head than the body. This smoke makes me happy. It has a nice come down with no after effects. After a 1 month cure the flavor is awesome. Sweet cherry on the inhale with an intersting cherry/skunk aftertaste. This is the tastiest, sweetest strain I have smoked.

This is a cross between a California indica Cherry Bomb and Mr. Greengenes Cherry Bomb with Maui Wowie origins. To get the best cherry flavor select plants with the most red in the stems. Mr. Greengenes has mentioned this in his Cherry Bomb, and I have found the same correlation in Reefermans Cherry Bomb II. The red striping is variable throughout both phenotypes. I recorded the degree of striping before flowering and compared the flavor and smell after. Just as Mr. Greengenes had said, the more red striping, the more cherry flavor and smell.

I was quite skeptical when I started growing these out as I have been let down more than once when it comes to taste. I really didn't think Cannabis could taste like cherries. I was not disappointed. Reeferman's Cherry Bomb II will have a permanent spot in my grow for years to come.

Cherry Bomb II is Da Bomb!

Grow: I germinated 10 seeds. 8 seeds popped. I put them in veg for 35 days. These plants like nutrients. I saw pre-flowers at day 32 on. I had 4 females. Cloning this plant is extremely easy.

Flower: I put the cherry bomb II in flower at 15 inches tall. I saw one p

I germinated all 10 seeds, on 14th Feb i transplanted, (but only 5 sprouted using the paper towel method ).And just 2/3 turned out Female. One of my worst ever ratios.
This report is of the mostly Indica pheno. The other plant went 12 weeks, and was obviously more on the sativa side.

This grow report is of the sativa dominant pheno, which wasn't as sweet or aromatic. But still one of my fav strains.
