Hey OG got another strain in flower I'd like to share with you all. It is the notorious Willie 'D' from Reservoir Seeds (Rezdog), a cross of SSSC Willem's Wonder x Soma's NYC Diesel. As far as growth to this point - Easy Pease Japanese, no problems at all.
WD is really starting to fill out nicely. It is amazing the amount of bud growth in the last 5 days, and I still have about 30 days left. I'd say the growth structure is a little more indy dom, but the top bud looks just like NYCD, I'm anticipating a very good mix of flavor and high. I can't wait to give it a try. Willie D showed her sex at abut 6 1/2 weeks veg, about 4 days after nodes started to alternate, can't ask for any more than that.
There was very little stretching overall. Plant was flowered at 18" and is only 26" at its final height. It looked like a lot of leaves in the first 3-4 weeks of flowering, but now sticky flowers have engulfed most of the leaf leaving a very solid bud structure. When I first inquired about this strain from Rezdog, he assured me that it would yield in the neighborhood of an OZ based on my environment. I'd have to say he was very conservative in that estimation as this plant will easily give me a couple of O's
Smell is comin on strong now. Carbon filter is necessary! Not an overpowering stench, but a very strong smell of lemon pledge is unleashed when brushing against the plant.
I actually made a few mistakes during this grow and the Willie 'D' keep on truckin. I only deal w/ hardy varieties and this one is a lumberjack Not a heavy feeder, not picky about nute levels or PH, and considering it has had to deal w/ some high humidity, I'd also say mold resistant.
Wilma was cut down this morning (day 58)... kinda mixed feelings, I didn't want it to stop growing, but I also want to smoke it All trics were milky and full, w/ a very small percentage going amber. This is the largest single cola I've ever had on a plant - 2.7oz of wet trimmed bud, should be about 25-30g dried That is not including smaller buds which should give me another ounce or so. The buds are dripping resin, had to change gloves twice, because I couldn't let go of them
Ok, buds have dried and cured up. Only problem is I don't have a big phat pile to show you because... I SMOKED IT!!!!! Willie 'D' is by far, hands down, no exaggeration, some of the finest weed I have ever toked on. Period, end of story. Willie D did not produce very dense buds, but it was a far above average yielder. I'd have to say that my plant, grown SOG style and finishing at less than 30" produced just shy of two ounces of trimmed, manicured bud. Very respectable, indeed.
The smell of Willie is strong to say the least. In flower odor reduction is necessary, as they will put off a pungent aroma. Smell is very lemon pledge, w/ a sour nose-hair burning finish.
The flavor is unique, although the NYCD taste is very apparent in the smoke; the Williams Wonder adds a slight lemon citrus hue to the palette. Smoke is very smooth, even on freshly dried buds, but also very expansive. You'll have no problems getting it in your lungs, just problems keeping it in. It also does not linger, no ass mouth, like some strong flavored strains leave after your done smokin.
The high is fantastic. Very good mix of indy/sat. The rush of the sativa high hits almost instantly, leaving me a little flushed w/ a racing pulse. But then the Indica kicks in and brings ya back down, but not locked to the couch. It is a very energetic high, I never felt tired or sleepy, even after extended session of WD. It also has no upward limit to the high, each hit took me to a new level of stoned. I'd say this is a very good strain if you have a high tolerance due to extended smoking. Great all day smoke, although I wouldn’t toke it if you are planning to go right to sleep, it could keep ya up, with thoughts of “Damn I’m sooooo high”.
Overall this is Top5 pot, hell maybe even Top3. Very balanced in all aspects. Head stash for sure, I found it very hard to part w/ even the tiniest morsel, no matter the offer I received. This one has found a permanent home in my garden, you should all consider adding it to yours as well.

Finished in 60-65 days,top-shelf yield,very intense indica stone w a sativa uplift....
