Breeder's Description - 'Matanuska Tundra (aka M. Thunder)'
This variety brings back that majestic legendary marijuana from the great Alaskan Northland. Highly recommended by the best fishing and hiking guides in the Matanuska Valley. The buds are huge and rock-hard as Denali "Mt. McKinley" herself. Intense flavor, chocolate aroma and potency have combined to form the most dense variety we have had the pleasure of producing thus far.

A glacier of THC crystals frosts her colas and she packs more power than an icepack polar bear. Medical patients have mentioned that she is very beneficial for persons with pain ailments. The "creeper" quality of the s ...continued

Matanuska Tundra was not the best looking plant in the garden. It was kind of lanky and had willowy stems that didn't break but did want to fall over. Most plants had knobby heads for buds with not much under bud-- the buds had very large exaggerated calyxes reminiscent of some Thai I have seen befo ...continued

I grew these Matanuska beans because a friend had them sitting around, it ened up being quite the strain. It stinks strong like skunk while vegging.

The plant vegs pretty fast and stretch's a good amount in flower ( maybe 2.5 times). The pheno I had as my mother like magnesium more than most plants which wasn't to hard to accommodate.

It grows very crystal covered dense Indica nuggets and the strain yields are very pleasing. I grew it in soil all organic so it had some colors when flushing a the end of flowering. As for clones and rooting, they seemed to root at an average speed. Good strain all around, I would love to do a cross with Matanuska some time in the future!!

I clone in soil/perlite mix in small 3in containers.
I veg in 1.5gallon pots in an all organic soil mix, then I transplant right before flowering into 2.5gallon pots for the rest of flowering. I always feed only water for the last 10 days, gains the best organic smoothness!!
