Breeder's Description - 'Shishkeberry #3' | | The berry's on the beef. These plants are the heavy early. Mothered by two Afghani hybrid cousins, the red and yellow. These were selected for yield and resin productivity respectively. The father was the most incredibly resinous. Blueberry Male from DJ Short Collection. This male had tight stamen formation. Solid purple male clusters as firm as then flower. You will have a high yield of very large buds and few to no branches. The buds are exceptionally frosty with some purpling. A tangy and tastier aroma than other big yielders. The gland production will amaze you as you screen your trimmings ...continued

| There was some pheno variation in the seeds popped, allowing a grower to have a bit of choice in pheno selection to suit their particular set up, but overall fairly uniform in appearance and growth. None stretched too much, 2.5x max from when they were switched to 12/12. The pheno I kept finished just over twice the height.
Cloning was simple and straightforwards, roots showing after 10 days.
This plant was keen to go into flowering, showing preflowers on 24 hour light. Bud set was clearly happening within 2 weeks of 12/12. The plant was not too branchy or too compact, meaning that you could use it for a range of growing methods (SOG, SCROG, etc.). I did my usual supercropping technique (pinching out tips a couple of times and twisting stems). Nodal spacing was tight on the tops, but the individual buds in the colas didn’t fatten as I expected an indica to — they were more finger-like.
Trichomes started to appear early in this one — the first pic is the bud at 30 days. The second pic shows the plants at 32 days and gives a reasonable idea of how these plants develop shape-wise.
Pistils started to darken early on this one — the fourth pic shows pistils at 48 days but the trich’s clearly showed that the plants weren’t ready for chopping, they eventually came down at 62 days (pic 5). By this time 90%+ of the pistils had darkened.
This plant is absolutely dusted with trich’s and the final appearance overall is very pleasing (pic 3). Great for bubblehash etc.
The strain seems to like a fairly strong nute mix throughout its life cycle (at least in my NFT tanks).
The smoke is a classic hashy one — earthy with obvious caramel taste, fruity flavours mixed in behind, you can feel this one in your lungs but it isn’t unpleasant. The overall combination is a bit like sandalwood! The hit is a bit of a creeper, takes a few minutes to come on and feels like your edges are turning to marshmallow! Not paralysing though (unless you want to chill) and no paranoia. Found it particularly good for listening to / making music, as well as having a laugh playing games with your mates!
Has become a key part of my home breeding programme!

| I got a good germ rate with these seeds, out of 6 planted they all popped. During veg these plants grew very uniformly in 1 gallon pots. They took the veg nutes well, but weren't quite as greedy with them as their neighbors; sol's sweet Tooth#3.
At five weeks the preflowers revealed a 50/50 m/f ...continued
