Breeder's Description - 'KAL-X'

Resin, resin, resin, that is the goal here. We crossed our best hash producers together, and guess what it made .... a resin encrusted plant, that makes great hash, with very dense buds, thick and slow burning. This plant does surprisingly well outdoors, even finishing in the rough outdoors of Holland (mid oct.) With it's short wide structure be sure to clip lowest branches off, to help the plant focus it's energy on the main buds. Kal-x hash took 3 place in the 1995 Cannabis Cup.

Germinated 3 seeds with a 100% return.

All 3 vegetated for 30 days and were off to flower. 3 females, including 3 seperate phenos. Afghan, Hash Plant and a mix pheno (my favorite).

Harvest stats.... Afghan ~ 71 days/3 oz. Hash Plant ~ 61 days/1.5 oz. (produced bananas/cut early). Kal X ~ 59 days/2 oz. (mother). As a grower, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I have a 4 chamber grow. Germination/cloning, vegetation, flowering and breeding. The germination/cloning chamber is hydro, the others are my soil mix. Lighting as follows: 80w floroclone, 325w floroveg and 400w hps with 250w mh for under/side flowering.

Manually watered 1.5x daily. Feedings every other day included Humatech's Organic Advantage. Also rotated Indo Bay Guano, Bone Meal and Blood meal about the flower room weekly. Cloning done using light floros and H2O alone.

All in all. A great strain to grow, however, light taste and its low expansion level bring its value down.
