| I grew this as a newbie and it was as hardy, stable, squat and low odour as the classic NL reputation suggests, with all the potency as well.
Odour: Oddly, plants smelled more skunky in veg than flower, when they were sweet 'n' low odour. A very sweet 'n' citrusy grapefruit smell, but stealthy. ...continued

| I flowered 2 British Columbia Seed Co. NL#5 along with 3 Sensi Seed Bank Northern Lights. The NL#5 out performed the Sensi in every way. The buds swelled up a lot more, earlier, and had even more resin which is saying a lot cos the Sensi is heavily resined.
This strain is very very hardy and hard to hurt. Perfect for first time growers to get them hooked on the hobby.
I vegged for 40 days and my plants grew to 4 feet from the top of the soil. If vegged sooner they should go 3-3½ feet without training.
I found two phenotypes: a pole-plant pheno that was just one big 20" cola with four little crown buds around it, and a xmas-tree pheno that has more branches, smaller cola, bigger yield but takes up more space. The xmas-tree pheno actually tastes a little better.
The smoke is amazing! <-I will add a smoke report one of these days...

Then it all seemed to kind of dry up after BC bud became what you would normally see. So ever since I started growing I have allways wanted to see if I could get a go ...continued

| Well, this was officially one of the most depressing experiences of my life. I spent months planning my first grow and building a wardrobe grow cabinet. I spent $1800 on equipment. I spent 3 months growing the plants. I started with 6 seeds. 1 didn't germinate, so I started a 7th. I got 2 females an ...continued
