| Schnazzleberry from Chimera is probably the most potent strain from his genetics. Schnazzleberry is a hybrid line from Breeder Steve's famous "Shiskaberry" strain crossed with Chimera's Dom.
Having grown all of Chimera's strains I can safely say that Schnazzleberry is the best one in his entire c ...continued

| This is the first of Chimeras strains I have grown, and it won’t be the last. 5 of 5 seeds sprouted, 3 were females-2 males.
My pheno was somewhat Indica dominant and short. Very vigorous growth in veg; not much stretch in flowering.
Trichomes are very hearty on this plant, and the smell is de ...continued

| Where to begin... I mashed from her right now.
Well lets see, 4/5 germ I believe, 1 just kind of refused to grow, though I gave it a chance, just died after 5 days or so. The other three grew quite well but always seemed to be really touchy with any PH fluctuation, where it didn't affect any of the other strains going at the time. Doesn't like much nutes it seems either, but still a joy to grow. Very stinky, even in veg... more on that later.
I know that I vegged them for a least 65 days under 80w of fluoro lighting, but not sure exactly on veg time.
When the lights where flipped they showed sex within a week 2 females, and 1 male that was used to seed a female Schnazzleberry and C99 branch. I noticed that they liked more nutes in flower than veg, so I gave them full strength and they loved it, but still got a little tweaked every now and then due to ph fluctuation. Buds for rather quickly, and so does the smell. There was minimal stretch, and node spacing was quite short, only 1 pheno between the two females, they differed only mildly in terms of strength of smell. Seems to me like she would do good in a SOG situation, but I grow 8-10 cola style. Flowered under 1000w hortilux eye.
Around week 4 the smell really kicks in, really, really kicks in! I almost cut them down a couple of times out of paranoia due to my living situation, having once detected smell outside of my residence, so top notch odor control is a must! The smell of the plants during flowering is incredible though, very unique and hard to describe, fruity but with a stench that overpowers, kind of musky I guess.
Well, I harvested them around day 50 when most of the trichs where milky with a few amber here and there. I had a problem when drying them though and they where dry in 5 days, and put into jars.
Yeild: Was above average, though I'm sure that I can improve on that in future runs, maybe not so many tops next time.
Smell: After 2 weeks in the jars, a fruity smell is more pronounced, but the main thing that I smell is a musky almost sweaty armpit like smell, but its good, I know that sounds sick... but it is what it is... great smell! LOL.
Taste: A bit harsh because of the drying problems and it hasn't been properly cured, but very good all the same. Slightly fruity, but mainly a skunky kind of spicy taste I suppose.
Edit: 8/19/04, the taste has improved greatly, less harshness and a bunch of fruitiness have come through. My grow partner is now so pissed that he has none left, but I told him to keep her, oh well.
High: Woah, here is where this baby really shines! Mostly in the head, but with a good deal of body numbing that I've never felt with MJ before. Comes on fairly fast, gives a good shot of giggles, and very hard to think coherently. It makes you stupid, in a smart kind of way, LOL! Very potent! Lasts for a good 2-3 hours, pleasant come down.
Edit: 8/19/04, the potency has also increased a bit with the cure, very hard hitting!!
Overall fantastic strain, has a super strong smell that turns heads, and everybody loves to smoke it. I will just be keeping my mom in veg until I move, just too stinky for my current situation.
Garden Information for this report Grown in Promix BX using Life Circle nutrients. 1000w hortiluxe eye with air cooled hood. Fed with every watering, flushed for 8 days. |

| Schnazzleberry ranks in the top three of my favorites to grow, and in the top 2 of favorites to smoke. I do not recall the exact female ratio though I don't ever remember having a disappointment with the results. While I have 2 Schnazzleberry ladies in flower now, I will account the grow of my fir ...continued
