Breeder's Description - 'Schnazzleberry' | | Spice of Life’s fantastic Shiskaberry fathers beef up the yield of the odourific Dom. These plants branch well and fill in with potent gland laden flowers. Serious odour control is required for most individuals, especially late in flowering! Yields are above average.

| Schnazzleberry from Chimera is probably the most potent strain from his genetics. Schnazzleberry is a hybrid line from Breeder Steve's famous "Shiskaberry" strain crossed with Chimera's Dom.
Having grown all of Chimera's strains I can safely say that Schnazzleberry is the best one in his entire c ...continued

My pheno was somewhat Indica dominant and short. Very vigorous growth in veg; not much stretch in flowering.
Trichomes are very hearty on this plant, and the smell is de ...continued

| Where to begin... I mashed from her right now.
Well lets see, 4/5 germ I believe, 1 just kind of refused to grow, though I gave it a chance, just died after 5 days or so. The other three grew quite well but always seemed to be really touchy with any PH fluctuation, where it didn't affect any of t ...continued

| Schnazzleberry ranks in the top three of my favorites to grow, and in the top 2 of favorites to smoke. I do not recall the exact female ratio though I don't ever remember having a disappointment with the results. While I have 2 Schnazzleberry ladies in flower now, I will account the grow of my first two. Vegging: I generally veg between 5-8 weeks depending on space as a perpetual schedule is the main goal. These were vegged around 7 weeks then planted together into a 5 gallon bucket with Expert Mix Soil (yellow bag) from WM. I don't suggest planting 2 per pot, but I confess to a nOObs mistake. While I'm pleased with the results, each precious Schnazzle should have her own beauty and breathing room. Flowering:: These girls flowered exactly 9 weeks and the trichomes were a screaming amber and slightly cloudy. The frost was unlike any I've seen. In addition, so was the odor. No complaints from this grower's perspective, but measures should be taken to avoid complaints/notices/drooling of others. Nutritionally, they were easy to please. Yield: Average. It was more about quality (ideal for scrog/sog). Trimming: A breeze.
Smoke: For me, it's right on. The taste is gently skunky (around here, that is mouth watering) and the smoke is full on to the lungs. Prepare to cough. Maybe sit and hit. A small test was taken at harvest and then again about 3 weeks later. The longer the better (no surprise). The buds were tight, picturesque, and dried rather quickly for curing in jars. Two jars remain for next summer. Unless, the 2 new girls replace them in their pardon of time.
High: Absolute and highly desirable/calming and I am happy to report it is the closest strain I've found to helping bouts of insomnia. When I intentionally stay focused on Schnazz, I find myself creative and artistic. Schnazzleberry starts out as one of those who make you think "she's a heartbreaker". Such a natural beauty and low maintenance that makes certain to please. I'd only be heartbroken if I knew there were not more where she came from.
Garden Information for this report Sam's Choice Continual Feeding soil, half strength MG nutrients (a house vegging formula @ 15-30-15 and flowering Bloom Booster @ 10-52-10), some H2O2, and a dash of Epsom salts for good measure. CO2 ghetto-delivered from a paint ball tank. 3 Shop lights (240W total) for veg/2x400W HID’s (HPS & Son Agro). |
