Breeder's Description - 'Sweet Purple' | | A very strong, rather tall plant with hues of purple and pink, that tastes like strawberries. She grows good indoors, and is also perfectly adapted to colder regions such as Holland for outdoor growing. Her early flowering means you can harvest fat colas before the "bad" weather starts.

| Sweet Purple is a three-way cross and actually quite varied and not a stable or uniform strain at all (which I guess is why it's so cheap). It's not particularly potent and doesn't yield a lot. Average on both counts but it has the sweetest, most refreshing strawberry taste you are ever likely to en ...continued

| I germinated 2 seeds in a wet paper towel that was in a tupperware container on top of my DSL modem.
Within 36 hours they were both planted in 6 inch pots using miracle grow. I only have one grow room and decided to throw some more in there with the big ones that were soon going to flower.

| I ordered some Sensi Star so I figured I'd pick up some Sweet Purple too since it was only $20 and was supposed to have nice colors and taste/smell like strawberries. I had some germ problems (don't think it was the seeds) and ended up w/ 4 girls. They had very indica style leaves and growth, very columnar and sog worthy but the buds were very Sativa in appearance and resin. They were fairly short and didn't stretch much at all after the initial stretch. I harvested them around 70 days but had some problems with that harvest that affected yields and possibly potency so I’m not sure if that had any affect. The buds feel pretty solid and dense when growing but when you dry them they get very airy. Yield is about half what you would guess based on the size of the buds.
The high... Well when I first tried it I thought it was shit. That was before it was all the way cured and when I was smoking several other strains. At the moment it's all I've been smoking for a few days and I've grown to appreciate the buzz a bit more. The buzz is very heady but not racey at all, very clear, a good daytime smoke. Very little if any body to it. It does have a tendency to cause some munchies tho and doesn't have the sativa influence that keeps ya up at night. It makes it easy to relax and go to sleep at night but doesn't have that powerful indica buzz that knocks you out during the day. I didn't get any that turned purple or tasted/smelled like strawberries, but an interesting and different looking MJ compared to most strains and a good daytime or relaxing evening buzz, but nothing really special unless that's what you're looking for.
