Breeder's Description - 'Northern Lights' | | An absolute must for the indoor grower! For many years the Northern LightsŪ dominated the various Harvest festivals. Through selective breeding we have succeeded in producing one of the most powerful plants in the world. On top of that, we have developed a pure Indica strain highly adapted for indoor growing: compact, powerful with a good yield and exceptional resin production. A most lucrative plant for the indoor grower.
Flowering: 45-50 days. Height: 100-125 cm. Yield: up to 125 gr.

| I started off with these seeds as I was a beginner and was advised through this site as well as other places that NL was indeed the most hardy strain to grow, and was easy to clone, even for someone with my limited growing experience.
I would recommend it to beginners with money however, as the initial seeds can be expensive, but in my opinion WELL worth it. Out of 5 seeds planted, 3 females. Now on to 6th generation mothers, and it's getting stronger with every generation. Smell is also becoming a stronger issue now, with each generation.
Garden Information for this report Veg: Two 32w floros for 2 weeks. Cloning then ready into veg chamber under 400w HPS (used throughout entire crop). Never quite managed the circular crop thing. Flowering: 400w HPS, hydro unit, ready made kit NFT424 table, SUPERB! New solution/water in tank every week, used CANNA Vega and Flores as per instructions on bottle, pushing high to 1800 ppm towards the end, when PK 13+14 was used, cured over proper 2 month period. Lovely jubbly |

Grower Report - SuperToker on August 26, 2003, 1:41 pm | | 1 Image | Smooth smoke, very enjoyable and tasty. Very pleasant body high. Tastes as sweet as it smells. Be careful smoking this as it has somewhat of a creeping stone, and if you smoke too much you might end up feelin a little bit too stoned. Great plant, easy to grow, very enjoyable.

Great taste and potency with NL and ease of growing are A+. This line is very stable genetically. I like the Purple tinge the leaves develop as it matures as well. A very resinous plant and loaded with ...continued

| I grew Sensi Seeds version of Northern Lights and was pleased with the results. It is a very tolerent strain when it comes to plant abuse, it can handle more nutes than many other strains. The odor and flavor both lack which gets made up for by potency.
Northern Lights has great potential for ...continued

| This was my first NL grow and, since I don't have the green thumb, I'm glad for the ease of this plant. No problems at all with pests, just a little nitrogen deficiency. I grew indoor during seedling and flowering state, outdoor during vegging. The odour is very low but this doesn't affect the pot ...continued
