  Breeder's Description - 'Chronic'
Our most commercial variety, this medium height, not too dense plant is the perfect combination of good yield and excellent quality. Smokers that know and grow choose this plant for its combination of appearance and sweet smell. With its indica background Chronic can produce up to 600 g/m2 without losing that connoisseur feeling. Grows a single huge central bud with few side branches. Do not top plants to encourage multiple big buds, as this strain does not respond well. Mild, sweet smell develops while flowering, take care to dry thoroughly after harvest (before packaging) to maintain this su ...continued

Thirteen seeds germinated out of fifteen of which six were female.
There were two phenotypes, both very similar.
The first pheno is slightly taller than the second... what can I say, if you are growing Chronic, yield is what you are going to get. The smell is not OTT and is very sweet, rather nic

This strain shows good yields and is easy to grow dose better in cool temps and MCF is a must to rise potency and resin production, I have grown out 14 and made 1400 prime f2 seeds and grown out 60 plants with a 80 % female ratio. This is a A1 strain bases and I have only seen two hermitic and 1 who ...continued

Being my first grow, I gotta admit things didn't do things perfectly. 6/6 of the seeds germinated and grew into the vegitative stage equally as healthy. Only 1/6 however was female. These were grown in a small closet with little ventilation (only door open when the light was on).

The top cola was

Chronic is one of my favorite strains. Very easy to grow from seed or clone, it loves high nutes and it’s a good yielder. I have been very happy with the results of this plant, my mother is a medium height plant that grows one main cola if left small which is ideal for SOG but the longer you let it ...continued

Most people who diss this strain probably haven't done it right. Personally i am very impressed with it. Its CERTAINLY a definite must for growers who have big yeilds at the top of their criteria. The pics show mainly one of the 4 scrogs i've done with Chronic (the best one), there's a couple of other random cola shots in there too.
This strain is great in many ways - 1st up it hardly smells! Really low odour with this one, i can do grows with no carbon filter easily. However, they are only low odour if you dont touch them, rustle a few branches and it can get a bit strong during the later weeks of flower.
Secondly, yep the yields are FAT.
3rdly its strong as hell
But there is one area where it doesnt do as well as many other strains and thats taste/flavour, dont get me wrong its still really nice, just not quite as good as a nice sativa. If you dont cure it nicely it can go slightly indica harsh tasting but avoid that and its gr8.
Pretty easy to grow, it didn't like any more than 80% strength canna flores at most. The 1lb plant came in at 1.12gr/W which i was over the moon with :P
I think more people need to try this passive hydro with airstone combo as it really does deliver the goods. Its also the most basic method of hydro!
Chronic is up there with the best of commercial strains.

The plants all germinated and received 8 females out of 15 seeds.

Plants grew fairly quick through veg and produced a deep hash scent. The plants varied slightly in their indica/sativa characteristics.

I had one plant that showed dominant indica, one dominant sativa, and six fairly mixed plant
