Breeder's Description - 'Northern Lights x Shiva'

Northern Lights crossed with Shiva creates wonderfully pungent sweet buds with bountiful THC. This plant has high flower to leaf ratio. NL/Shi has a bit spicier smoke when compared to Northern Lights and has a more complex buzz. This strain is a timeless classic. NL/Shi has a exotic aroma, is relatively easy to grow and clone.

Nirvana NLxShiva was a very nice variety to grow.
They branch out quite nicely and often "top" themselves somehow
just so they can grow more branches. This was very good for me and it
provided for a pretty decent yeild.

This was my first grow in 2001. NL x Shiva was a great place to start. The plants grew quickly and were very forgiving. I kept the pH around 6 - 6.2 (now I keep it lower). There was only a little diversity in phenotypes, all had fat, triangular leaves.

This is the first time I have grown this strain. I really was not sure what to make of this strain, but due to the f'up in my room I needed to drop a few more seeds to max the sq footage.

Easy to grow, I couldn't kill it as hard as I tried. Good yield. Great smoke, quite potent. The couple other people who've had any have raved also.

This was my first real grow and I was amazed with every aspect of this plant. Extremely easy to grow, almost like it took care of itself. It loved nutes and was not over-sensitive. The foliage is a beautiful dark green.

In flowering the trichomes pack on excessively. There is a strong unique smell, but it stays rather close to the plant. Had the fattest colas of the three strains that I grew at the same time as well as the best yield.

I let her go a little over 60 days to get those trichs a little more amber. I didn't flush before harvest and the smoke was pretty harsh after drying. I've been curing it in mason jars for a few months now and the smoke is as smooth and tasty as can be. I'm now a firm beleiver in curing!

Since I've become legal I've been growing medicinal clones, but some day I plan to breed a mother plant out of the NLxShiva seeds I still have left over.
